WOW (Patreon Update)

GUYS, THIS IS AMAZING!

I cannot believe how many supporters we've got – we're already looking into so many additional things we can do.

AND WE ALREADY HIT OUR FIRST GOAL?!!!  I get to go buy new T-shirts now!  Which is good, because I'm starting to get spaghetti stains on all the ones I already own.

All the proper perks will launch in September (the video credits, the video chat meeting, etc) when everyone's card is charged.  But, until then, we're working on getting the "behind the scenes" content up to speed so it'll be ready and consistent in September as well.

So just think of August as a free bonus! :D

Your support means so much to me and Edward.  I've been working on this channel for almost a year now, paying for everything by myself, and just trying to keep things afloat – and knowing there are so many people who want to help me is so encouraging.

It was the hug I needed right now. :D

I'm on my way to work so I need to jump off for the moment, but Edward and I are going to be dropping more content in this feed as we get everything ready to go.

Please feel free to comment on this or any other post – we read all of them and will address as many as we can going forward. :)

Thank you SO MUCH, Patreon brains!

All the feels ....

Jo

This is Edward, I just read this to Jessica over the phone while she was driving – pretty sure she's crying now. :D:D Jessica says, "I'm so glad my videos reached you, and were able to help you understand and accept your ADHD. Welcome to the tribe! Thank you both for helping me continue to reach others who still need that!" Then I'm pretty sure she went back to crying.

How to ADHD

Jessica, your youtube channel has helped my wife and I come to terms with our adhd. I have known I probably had adhd for several years now, but due to paralysing anxiety when it comes to talking about it, I have never done anything it. My wife was diagnoised when, after a few months of dating, I pushed her to seek treatment for her depression. But again, it was something she pushed aside, because it wasn't a major thing (she thought). But when we found your videos, and started sharing watching them, they helped bring in to focus exactly what it is we have, and how much it effects our daily lives. I don't think there has been a single video you've made that does not apply to one of us, if not both (I lucked out on the sleep thing - which is a great annoyance to her :P). Your how to seek treatment video is what started me on the process, a couple months ago, to start seeking active treatment. Last week I took the urine test required in Australia to receive a prescription for Dexamphetamines. So I just wanted to say that paying something a month so you can keep doing these videos and keep helping others, it's the least we can give back for all the assistance you have given us. Thanks (oops on hitting submit before the post was finished :/ )
