We also just got engaged, so for this V-Day we thought we'd make a fun episode that also gives people a peek into ADHD relationships. Soooo...let's play the Newly Engaged Game! It's like the newlywed game, only, y'know. We're not married yet. Submit questions you'd like to see us (try to!) answer about each other or our relationship to Jo: Jo@howtoadhd.com And she'll have us answer them tomorrow night when we shoot! :D

Still working on hiring myself :D Jo's a teacher who uses the videos to work with her students and has collaborated with me on a couple of videos, including the one about school accommodations. This video was her idea, and the game doesn't work if we see the questions ahead of time, so she offered to collect the questions for us and make a slideshow for when we're ready to play :)

We naturally express love in each other's primary "languages" so we have it easy, but we could use to be more conscious about the other ones. I.e. "gifts" wouldn't mean a thing to me without cuddles and quality time together, but I love surprises so it's nice to get them occasionally & I think it's special to receive love in ways that aren't expected once the primary love needs are fulfilled.

And if so, do you know each other's "love Language" and do you take active steps to communicate in the others language even if it might be foreign to you. If you have no idea what I'm talking about I highly recommend taking the love language quiz together. It can lead to some great conversations :)
