Patreon Meet-Up at Vidcon?!?!?!?

Brains!!

Edward here! Vidcon is quickly approaching, and here's what I want to know!

Are any of you planning to be at Vidcon in June?

Because Jessica and I would love to have a Patreon-brains meetup during the convention!

Here's what we're thinking:

* A Patreon-only meet-up. There will be a meet-up AT Vidcon for any fans of the channel, but we wanted to do a special one for Patreon supporters.

* Meet somewhere inexpensive.  If there are only a few people, maybe a coffee shop?  Or if there are more, perhaps a restaurant?

* Meeting outside of VidCon. We don't want to force any of the brains to buy a ticket to Vidcon to come see us, so we thought we'd do it somewhere outside of the convention?

Give us your thoughts, brains!  We've got about six weeks before Vidcon!

I am looking into it today. Thought it was July, but June is more doable. I am working on the logistics.

"out of reach" I have to say :-(

Not as bad as Friday night, that's for sure. Most of the attendees at VidCon will be at VidCon Prom. ;)

Aww wonderful! And thanks I'll check it out!

Ooo IHOP would be awesome -- I wonder how crazy it'd be Saturday night?

Awesome, glad you're interested! I'm really excited to connect :D

That's a really good point. I'll check the VidCon schedule, maybe Saturday night would be good!

I'm all for an outside vid Con meetup. The 24th would be ideal for thus of us working.

I live in OC so I can definitely be there. Still debating on doing Vidcon as a whole though. Dropped you a PM as well.

I love this idea. One spot that's a favorite meet-up location for VidCon attendees is the IHOP on Harbor near the intersection at Katella. It's within walking distance of the convention center and is relatively inexpensive. There's also the Roscoe's Chicken and Waffles. That place is a little bit further down, closer to the Target on Harbor, but doesn't get as crowded as I've seen the IHOP get.

Ooooh, this would be super. There are a bunch of cheap eats outside of the city block that the convention center takes up but immediately adjacent, including a diner and a pizza joint. Folks in the area wouldn't have to worry about having a pass, so that's nice, and they're decently affordable.
