My only suggestion is that you turn off the subtitles on the dub for possible spoiler reasons. I feel like the volume has been good on the last 2 videos imo.

They are genuine canon adaptations which probably couldn't have fit in the manga due to scheduling/editing issues. Consider them like ripped pages from the story Kubo originally tried to make.

Kubo has been publicly working very closely with the anime team to adjust the series because he wasn't able to fully realize his vision for the arc when writing. If I remember correctly, he was rushed pretty heavily by Jump in a few sections and also was in pretty poor health at the time. As a writer, I know you can relate to the idea of an author being able to return to their series and make the changes that you wish you had the time/foresight to make. I think it's really cool that Kubo has the opportunity to do this with the anime team 10 years later! Getting to amend your life's work and close it without regrets probably feels incredibly satisfying.

2025-05-21 03:48:40 +0000 UTCin Japanese, the voices of most of the characters sound completely different and better just because English-speaking actors can't pronounce the different names of techniques well. but I respect your decision and I'll still be happy to see all your other reactions , and I understand that it's better for you since you're used to Eng from the first episode . and on the other hand as someone from Europe I appreciate more that the quincy have a German accent and in turn their techniques sound better in Eng than in Jap :D
