Regarding Robert's briefcase, I believe is just reference to Kubo's previous work Zombie Powder. There is a chatacter called C.T Smith who looks like a young version of Robert and that character always carries around a briefcase and fights with guns. I actually higly recommend getting the 4 volumes of Zombie Powder, because despite being incomplete, each volume has one of Kubo's oneshots which are all pretty good and Zombie Powder itself is very entertaining. The main character of Zombie Powder is the inspiration for Grimmjows desing.

2025-09-27 16:35:10 +0000 UTCIt is implied that the fight was happening inside Hitsugaya's brain. The Morphine Pattern did not work on Byakuya because of the Oken he was wearing. The duality of Kubo, we get stuff like Blade is Me, and then we get Pepe. Gigi is a good character, but Pepe is not he's bottom tier.
