First off thank you as always for your support making this show possible. We are extremely grateful.
Secondly, American Presidential election night can be a stressful event for a lot of people and we are doing a live show on Discord to provide commentary, context, and answer questions from listeners. We will be joined by special guests and friends of the show Jon Schwarz and Roqayah Chamseddine.
It'll go from 9:30 to 11:30, possibly later if there is uncertainty in the air!
Instructions on how to join are as follows:
We'll be using Discord (discordapp.com), a free chat site. No need to create a verified account or download the desktop app (unless you really want too). What you will need is an Internet connected computer with Chrome installed and a working microphone, if you want to ask a question. Or you can access the chat on a phone or tablet. Please note: If you are not on a computer with Chrome you will need to download the Discord app.
We'll send an invitation link to our dedicated Discord server on Monday, along with more specific instructions on how to join in the conversation. For those of you who can't make it, we'll record the session and make it available for you afterward.
Also, you can join the conversation by emailing us a question in advance at citationsneededcontact@gmail.com. We will get to as many questions as we can within the time we have.
So, again, save that date and time (Tuesday, November 3rd @ 9:30 PM EST) and expect an email reminder that day with more details and directions.
