Do see a WaPo opinion article by Radley Balko from 2016/11 mention the police riot https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/the-watch/wp/2016/11/16/more-on-the-time-rudy-giuliani-helped-incite-a-riot-of-racist-cops/

the newspaper of record in case anyone else is interested https://www.nytimes.com/1995/05/31/nyregion/riot-police-remove-31-squatters-from-two-east-village-buildings.html

41 shots...

Anytime anyone tried that "America's mayor" garbage on me I played them this song by screwball, "who shot Rudy" https://youtu.be/SznGSjcNlQ0

Another Giuliani story that I don’t think is well known is in 1995 when he rolled tanks into Alphabet City to evict squatters even though a judge had put an injunction against the police. The judge said the squatters has a case under the homestead act. Alphabet City was blocked off for months by the police.

I am new to the left, so please forgive my ignorance. What are the names of the people Ashoka mentions at around minute 5? Btw, 2 years ago, I was a happy ignorant liberal... You guys ruined my life.
