AMA with the Citations Crew!

Thank you as always for your support making this show possible. We are extremely grateful.
We will be holding our next one-hour live audio and text AMA Wednesday, Oct 27 at 10pm ET / 7pm PT. So save the date and prep your questions for us! They could be about media, politics, our hot takes, or how we build our episodes! Adam and Nima, as well as Citations Needed producer Florence and associate producer Julianne, will be on the line.
Instructions on how to join are as follows:
We'll be using Discord (discordapp.com), a free chat site. No need to create a verified account or download the desktop app (unless you really want too). What you will need is an Internet connected computer with Chrome installed and a working microphone, if you want to ask a question. Or you can access the chat on a phone or tablet. Please note: If you are not on a computer with Chrome you will need to download the Discord app. We've attached more detailed instructions.

Also, you can join the conversation by emailing us a question in advance at citationsneededcontact@gmail.com. We will get to as many questions as we can within the time we have.

I'm sure you aren't a dummy! Some other things to consider (advice from another patron on Discord!) try a different browser, clearing cookies, and possibly turn on/off a VPN if available.

2021-10-28 02:58:38 +0000 UTCI tried incognito mode too. Same result where it wouldn't let me proceed without verifying my (non-existent) account :( I followed the directions in the PDF for the record. I swear I'm not a dummy!

It would not let me proceed without creating an account, but when I tried to do so it said it considered something I was doing "suspicious" and made me verify my account. But I don't have an account! There was no way around this despite several attempts. Just thought you'd want to know; I may not have been the only one who experienced this issue and was locked out of the AMA.
