To what extend does international law not work because the US undermined it? Is it a stupid policy we'll come to regret later? Or even regret now already, since countries don't all support Ukraine, possibly _because_ of the US role in the world.. The hypocrisy angle is a bit, "people in power are bad" .. But really the 1) consequences of their actions are bad, and 2) they suck and we need better leaders.

(& being a retired teacher-librarian I understand assessing sources for bias, prejudice and ideological blindness, etc!) Just got to the section on Freedom Fries, throwing out Russian liquor and changing the name of the "Moscow Mule"! I gotta love that not just right wing a$sholes, but some of my "liberal" friends have excoriated me for not voting for Hillary, voting 3rd party, e.g., as wanting a "purity pony" & the same idiots can't recognize their own jingoistic purity tests, which are followed with a Pavlovian conditioned lack of thought or nuance!! It's sad how most people can't be bothered to think, & the (G)libs are mostly every bit as bad as retrograde MAGA types.

Fucking FINALLY I've been waiting for your take on this. The hypocrisy these days are driving me nuts. Just looking at how the entire world set sanctions for Russia within a week, while none of them has even lifted a finger against Israel for doing this same shit since 1948. I just can't 💀
