Dismayed to hear Johnson give a defense of Mehdi Hasan in same breath as he dismisses Matt Taibbi as a contrarian faux leftist, even grouping him with Carlson. This is a mess. Anyone following the substance of the Twitter Files should recoil at Hasanโ€™s spurious, uncorrected on-air Taibbi-ambush in defense of the security state. Lee Fang has put paid to Hasanโ€™s spectacular misrepresentations, and the hosts of a media show ought to know it. The US left depends to a scary degree on media critics like Johnson AND Taibbi. We canโ€™t afford sloppy takes like this.

Great conversation. Watched on YouTube already.
