Hello Brains & Hearts!

Happy Halloweeeeen! The holidays are beginning, with all the chaos they bring. This year, we’re hoping to make them a bit less stressful and even – dare we hope – enjoyable for our ADHD brains. How? GLAD YOU ASKED! This video won’t be going up for a few weeks, but we’re shooting one this week about what to do before you do anything else this holiday season (spoilers: make a list of what you’d like to do, and then decide when you’re going to do each aspect of it. Put it in your cal, if you use one). Like many strategies, this is easier said than done – which is why we’re making a whole video about this one strategy and how to navigate the challenges you might run up against while trying to implement it. Keep your eyes peeled!!

Oh and one more thing – the International ADHD Conference is this month!! Details later in this newsletter for anyone who wants to attend (or who can’t, but would love to learn along with those of us who can)!

Every year ACO, ADDA, and CHADD put on a conference to bring together the best of the best in ADHD research, treatment, and strategies. We understand that the prices for this conference is not accessible to a lot of people. That said, if you do have the budget to attend, it’s one we highly recommend! (And yes–Jessica will be there!)

The French translation of the Book is out now!! We’re so excited! We’re still trying to fathom that the book is out there… IN DIFFERENT LANGUAGES! Couldn’t have happened without you all. <3
We have started releasing ad-free versions of our videos and we’re excited to see that they’re being watched! We hope you’re enjoying them!
We’re working on a script for Emotional Impulsivity, but it was giving us a bit of a hard time… but we think we’ve finally cracked the code on it! It just… needs… to be rewritten… BUT HEY! We’re pretty proud and excited about the new direction we have for it!
Harley managed to put this Brain Chronicle together and get it out on time, woohoo! (Their usual partner-in-Brain-Chronicle-crime is unfortunately very sick, and we send well wishes and fast recovery to our beloved Operations Director, J2! And a big THANK YOU to Jessica for stepping in to help!)
