Development 0.4 - #10

It's time for another development log! Luckily I don't have another de-indexing story this time. Game is running smoothly, as well as the development! Still on work vacation and I finished another scene today and already started with the preparations of setting up a new one. (Lights, Map, Props, Chars, etc.).
Currently I'm sitting at exactly 376 done renders (did a little check beforehand to confirm the number). I've also finished 6 animations so far, just normal ones for now, the special ones are still to come! I want to get a bit of a head start before I post any sneak peeks, so they'll probably start in October somewhere.
I really like how this last scene turned out visually, and also how the overall update feels on paper. There will be quite some funny, emotional, and wtf moments, so be prepared for a potential roller coaster. :D
Some great people on Discord told me about a so-called render lottery, which a fellow dev/devs are doing with their games. It's basically about you guys telling me numbers according to the numbers of the available new renders of the update, and I'll pick out a predefined number of those and post the matching renders. If they contain spoilers, you'll only get the knowledge and not the actual image. Everyone can only request one number. What are your thoughts about this? Nothing is final yet, but this could be a nice source for early speculations. :)
I'll try to reach the 500-600 renders by the end of this months, wish me luck! :) Will report back in 2 weeks! Until then, have a great week and stay healthy!

I like that idea! I can do that when I start posting sneak peeks for 0.4 content :). Just need to make sure it's not too spoiler-ish. But the best images are usually kept secret until the game release, so maybe after release?

TBH, having you drop the odd render of yours that you found to be beautiful/interesting/satisfying/challenging/mpactful with a couple of words as to why, would be simply fantastic. It would give us something to look at, to try to understand/speculate, as well as giving up an insight into your creative work.
