Jock Quartet

In January I was able to organize my first ever group shoot! Inspired by the early men’s physique photography of Bob Mizer, Herbert List, Bruce Bellas and Mel Roberts, I always wanted to see if I could bring my own spin to this vintage aesthetic in the modern day. The playful camaraderie and earnest voyeurism from this era is hard to match. That’s why I love collecting and restoring it so much! (See here!)

This shoot was an incredible learning experience for me. Directing intimacy and balancing the needs of many nude men on camera at once can be quite a challenge! But what a joy to capture the raw passionate energy of these four boys. Let me introduce you to…

Zach, a Standford engineering student from Washington DC. The most muscular and furry guy I’ve photographed so far; I was excited to expand my definition of “boy” on this project. This stud is an avid skier, climber and circuit party enthusiast. He helped recruit his friend…

Declan, a mechanical engineer from Pennsylvania. A self-proclaimed geek and introvert, he tagged along with Zach to try posing for the first time. I’m enamored with his strawberry blonde hair, freckles, and coy grin. He turned out not to be so shy after all!

Ben, a computer scientist and digital designer from Germany. He’s a longtime fan of my work and the vintage male erotica that inspires this set. The stars finally aligned for us to work together during one of his trips to the US. He’s one of the most uninhibited people I’ve ever met, adorable on camera and wonderful collaborator behind the scenes.

Lucas, an OnlyFans creator and photographer from Pennsylvania. My one returning model, he brought a professionalism and artist’s perspective to the shoot. Lucas will return for another nature-themed photo release this summer- I can’t wait to share!

Scott told me he was surprised at “how skillfully (I) turned the house into a set, handled the models, coaxed them into interesting poses, and how much fun everybody had! The feeling was so relaxed and comfortable, so fun, the progression to the ending was inevitable! You devil you!”

When Ben first saw the photos he said; “It's great to see how the great chemistry and vibrant sensuality we experienced during the shoot are actually captured and reflected in these photos. I had a tremendous time and look forward to the next photo set!” This is just first half of the ‘Jock Quartet’ photos. The finale will be revealed in a second set coming soon!
