Your good thanks for the update 🀘🏻

Seth

Shigaraki is a great example. Perfect case of the wrong influence at the wrong time. Makes me excited for season 7! I think it's gonna be this spring too.

Oak

All things considered he's showing a surprising amount of restraint, knowing he can do anything. Weird to say but I like the rare moments of darkness from him like in this episode because it's humanizing, you'd expect him to get totally lost

Alex G

The example I keep coming back to in this case is Shigaraki, as you said the lowest point is a chance for change, the death part of death and rebirth, but there's no guarantee the rebirth will be better

Alex G

Sorry, it will be and 21 but running late. It will be a little while yet 😭

Alex G

Episode 20 isn’t today?

Seth

The worst part about all this is that Moeka was taken advantage of when she was at her lowest point. It reminds me of Aang's quote from Korra, "When we hit our lowest point, we are open to the greatest change". I personally feel this is very true, and we've seen it applied in other shows like Vinland to positive effect, but this is a case where it was used negatively. Moeka was on the verge of suicide when she got that message, and because of that, she easily fell into the trap she's still in now. And even now we see she's still suicidal. I feel like there's a lot you could go into here, but I just find the whole Moeka situation tragically real.

It's hardly elitist to point out that the anime condenses certain things or removes them outright from the VN to fit a tv format.

Nioavellir

The anime does not skip that. It's a focal point of the whole show. Why be an elitist for no reason

Steve.

Kiryu Moeka starring in; Withdrawal from facebook syndrome

Nioavellir

The anime absolutely skips about how completely broken Okabe is at some points during his journey. When you are in a pit of hell and nothing has consequences because you can undo anything that happened, what sort of deplorable actions suddenly don't feel so bad to consider anymore?

Neighbors these days, scarryyy

Alex G

[Everyone had to be drunk on something to keep pushing on. Everyone was a slave to something.] Moeka gave the wheel to her feelings instead of her brain. I think I did mention back then, Moeka not getting the tuturu~ treatment turned her into the dark side... The neighbour lady is completely awful. She heard all the screaming and fighting, finds the door open and a man on top of a woman in a dark room and instead of thinking it's an assault and calling the police, she thinks they're a horny couple.

Arakis

Honestly, props to the voice actress of Moeka, she really killed it.

Chris Sharpe

Moeka generates interesting feelings for me where I want to hate her but can't seem to manage it. She is just so easy to pity and maybe even relate to in a good way that makes you reflect. In a lot of ways hating her is like hating a weapon instead of the person who used it. She is so broken she barely has free will.

First I'm hearing it but I can see it

Alex G

Really random but has anyone told you that you look like Brock Purdy?
