I was referencing the fact that in MMORPGS with character customization, people's avatars rarely match their RL appearance. An people prefer to play sexy characters in the vast majority of cases. However, this game didn't seem to allow you to change your looks.

2024-03-02 00:44:13 +0000 UTCOh believe me you’ll enjoy all the arcs. Hunter X Hunter is rare in that I wouldn’t say it has a “weak” arc… unless you count the Hunter exam and killua’s family arc but even those are very necessary. Definitely gets better and better.

2024-03-01 10:45:42 +0000 UTCThat's so cool! I'm glad you enjoyed it, it was the first game to really grip me and definitely one of the most formative as I've mentioned. If you're looking for another one, Xenogears which I think I mentioned this episode is another of my favorites. It's a lot rougher around the edges gameplay wise, hasn't aged as well as the FF playstation era games, and takes a bit to really pick up the pace but story wise is incredible.

2024-03-01 07:58:15 +0000 UTCI currently have an itch for RPGs, and this arc is doing a great job of scratching it. I never played any Final Fantasy games growing up, but I recently dove into FFVII for the first time and loved it. I just finished Crisis Core as well, barely in time for the 2nd part of the FFVII remake that you mentioned seeing an ad for, which came out yesterday actually. I’m currently playing said game and despite only playing the original recently, it’s still an incredible feeling to wander the world. I haven’t even made it to Junon yet, but it really does make me want to travel more. RPGs really do have a certain kind of magic in that way. You are actually a partial inspiration for me deciding to dive into FF. In one of your older videos you also talked about the effect games like FFVII had on you, and you showed a brief clip of either Wutai or Costa del Sol (can’t quite remember).

2024-03-01 06:26:12 +0000 UTCIts easy to misinterpret, but Gon and Killua are very low on the power scales/albeit more lacking in Nen on Nen combat experience. Her 'appraisal' metaphor of them being rough stones needing to be refined into shining diamonds is spot on. It coincides with Gon's desire to be strong and competent enough for Ging. There are fun payoffs to some of your predictions from the start of the series this arc, can't wait to hear your analysis.
