Seeing this arc for the second time now reminds me how freaking packed these next 10 days are from the characters POV.

I love that every single person on the team is going up against someone much stronger than them, at least in terms of sheer Nen strength. I’m reminded of one of Morel’s first lines, about not assuming you can’t win just because of your initial impression of their strength. Now Morel and all of them by extension have to put that philosophy to the test. As Morel puts it, he was testing Gon’s resolve, not his strength. Obviously for anyone who knows Gon there wasn’t a question of whether or not he had resolve. Gon’s ability would come second to that in Morel’s book. Morel’s nothing if not consistent with his beliefs. Anyway, I’m with Aoife on Morel being one of my favorite characters, if you couldn’t already tell from the rest of my comment.

Morel is another one of my favourite characters from this show, he's definitely a slow burn kind of character but he really wins you over by just being a genuinely great guy. he's not very flashy, and he's not *too* serious, but he feels very mature and shockingly capable/reliable? He just seems like the kind of guy where you'd always feel safe if he's around.

Actually it wasn’t Netero that assigned gon and killua to Pitou, it’s stated that they were the ones who requested it

Killua's internal conflict being partially a nen needle makes me love his character more. He had that much more to overcome. It wasn't that he would have been hunky-dory if the nen needle wasn't put there. It was another huge emotional, and i'm sure physical, feat of strength and love for Gon.

I think Knuckle may want to land a big solid punch on his 1st hit so he can get bigger returns on APR faster. Otherwise if he barely taps him, the starting investment will be really low, and Knuckle would have to endure a much longer battle for APR to bust. Maybe especially for fights like this where he may not land more that one punch.
