Also, they live under a dictatorship akin to North Korea, so they probably view the government more as deities than people; so having the Secretary show interest would be something along the lines of being recognized by the gods, i. e. Zeus picking you as a mate.

Although it concerns me that he has houses for them. Idk for me that implies that this is not the first group of girls and that maybe somethings happened to the others.

2024-06-09 06:26:15 +0000 UTCAs people already pointed out: Pitous En is Red, Pouf‘s is Blue and also slightly weaker (at least radius-wise) Usually Pitou guards the palace, thou she is currently aiding the King (who cut his own arm last ep). Pitou for that reason cannot use her Aura, which is why Pouf just took over the job for that small timeframe. Its something very subtle which Togashi for some reason did not go in depth with (which is often the case lmfao)

2024-06-09 06:17:00 +0000 UTCI don't think they know about the chimeras occupying the area, based on a scene in a future episode. Though I may be mistaken. Regardless, I think that whether or not my take applies to this particular moment, such remains a reality for many trafficked girls.

I’m not sure what the other women have been through but my guess is they were excited that Bizeff was interested in them because it meant their lives were safe from here on out. I like the detail with the iPod. The OUI dispenser allows Hagya to use a borrowed ability for an hour. It’s the same duration as the album he picked out. So he’ll know when his ability will end during this fight with Morel. 💿

2024-06-09 03:53:41 +0000 UTCIn my opinion, the girls being happy that the secretary was interested in them might be due to the fact that since this is basically sex trafficking, then ending up in certain places is better than other ones. For the girls, ending up here, with a high profile individual and good living conditions might be unfortunately seen as a blessing for them, compared to some of the other girls they know who ended up somewhere else... it's sad.

2024-06-09 02:20:49 +0000 UTCIf this arc wasn’t already filled with many amazing moments, I’d say Knov’s breakdown is one of my favorite scenes. It’s incredibly humanizing, especially when we’ve mostly been having ant-centric humazing moments. I’m also with you on preferring to be in the bad situation than worrying about the bad situation when there’s nothing I can currently do. Logically, it should be easier to not have as much concern when something is out of one’s control, but oftentimes it's the exact opposite. The same thing applies to situations where something doesn’t go as you’d expect. Even if there’s nothing you could have realistically done differently, it’s more natural to try to search for a way it could have gone differently. It’s hard to accept that there might not have been anything you could have done, because that would force you to move past that thing, which isn’t easy when you aren’t personally satisfied with the outcome.
