The emotion showed in everyone’s eyes tells so much, I love it. I also enjoy the narration of everyones emotions during a specific scene. Togashi and everyone involved in developing this anime did a masterful job.

It's just that she's comfortable and non-threatened in her care and dedication for him. So she can sit on a flag pole or whatever and have fun scanning for nen without distraction

Or maybe its when the situation of how much the king was relying on her really sank in, to the extent that he was more sincere than he has ever been to this point asking her to heal komugi. Either way, that entire exchange always gives me chills.

We learned from the Yorknew arc he respects his job more than his own life, so how does accidentally potentially fatally injuring a random person weigh on him. That whole ending scene in general is just incredible though. I feel like we learned so much about each character in that room from that one scene.

I believe Pitou cried because it was the first time that the king didn't just order her. He said he was counting on her. Unlike you, I actually think she loves the king the most, or at least in the healthiest way. She doesn't love/isn't devoted to some idea of him as Pouf is. Unlike Pouf, whose admiration toward the king seems to be conditional, Pitou's isn't. She was the only one to tell him to just follow his heart a couple of episodes ago (implying that she supports him regardless of what choices he makes).
