2024-07-28 00:34:23 +0000 UTCI definitely like the harsh but true words of Eve’s dad. He’s a condescending pompous ass but he does have a point. It’s cool Eve was trying to speed up the process but those powers are a luxury. The city takes a lot of unnecessary time with stuff but it does the give he benefit of longevity once things finish. Viltrimites and heroes are a superior in a lot of obvious ways sure but I like the stand Eve dad takes when standing behind “inferior” hard working people. He’s still a prick though.

The two corpses in Midnight City were the two goons who got hung up there in s1ep1 by Darkwing, who promised to come back for them, only to go off and get killed by Omni-man. The house that Debbie was selling was just a random house not Omni-man's house. The shapesmith is only on one level of lies, not two. Martians can't be controlled by the sequid parasites, which is why they needed a human host(the astronaut), which is why in the scene this episode, the sequids killed the Martians with the spears instead of possessing them since they can't possess them, and which is also why they tried to kill all the astronauts last season in order to prevent the sequids from regaining any kind of power by bonding with a host.

Cecil made a comment about covering for Omniman by making it official that Nolan "died" in a gas explosion or something and pushing his books to the best seller list so that Debbie wouldn't ever have to worry about money again at the end of last season It feels like actually forever ago when season 1 aired lmao
