After Chimera arc I can fully understand why people actually think, that this is „finale“ enough and a wrap for the series. Thou, if you follow the manga you will actually see that Togashi doesn‘t slow down AT ALL (well in terms of writing not releases yikes) The next big arc is what I would call merging the best of the best (york new x chimera ant arc) The Succession Arc (after the anime‘s finale) picks up on the heights of chimera, with phantom troupe, the mafia, Kura & Hisoka being in the spotlight. Well worth a read, thou I can totally see why most would prefer to not start reading the manga (and its insane wall of texts (thats why we had a narrator the whole time lol…))

2024-08-15 07:36:21 +0000 UTCi know the Chimera Ant arc feels like the finale for you, but these last 12 episodes aren’t simply wrap up, they’re an entire five-course meal. especially excited for ging, he is my favorite character behind gon and killua, and i called from before episode 1 that ging will be a favorite for you.

Gon: 😢😡☠️ In the arc where even Bizeff the rapist political criminal gets a "good" ending, it's just so funny to me that Gon only needed to wait 1 more day to hear the news that Kite was reincarnated. I think Togashi definitely has something to say about revenge.

Like it's still the same world but you view everything through a different lense now. And I think that the remaining Ants probably still have a significant role to play in the story that hasn't been fully realized yet. I'm actually very glad that some of them survived which was not at all how I felt at the beginning of this arc.

2024-08-15 03:05:04 +0000 UTCUnfortunately, Ponzu was eaten by the ant that killed her and not the queen (so she can't come back). Also, I love this moment cause this arc was essentially a huge war, and this scene really shows the scarring effects that wars have on children.

(I love how Morel ditches his IV and screams "GON", its lovely) Killua comes to terms with his and Gon's relationship. Ging is finally here to be chill and very cool.
