@Arakis you're thinking of later in the comics... Atom Eve has that limit initially in the comics as well, but is able to get past it later in the story (as it's a psychological/mental limit, not a physical limit... hence why, even when she did have the limit earlier in the story, she could still change living matter in a life threatening situation)

Payton Preo

I would totally watch like a 1930 movie with my great granddad.

Perchik

Really??? What? I dunno if you've read the comics so I'm not gonna spoil much, but she can and does change the molecules of living matter.... I didn't see the special. Did the show authors put that in so people stop saying what I just said about her biggest strength being able to do that? Weird.

Arakis

It’s made clear in the Atom Eve special that she can’t change the molecules of living matter unless she’s in extreme stress. Her powers wouldn’t really give her much of an advantage over any other really good doctor, except in the general way where she’s really smart

Sunny

The quote you’re using doesn’t exist, Rex is only referring to himself when stating how he has repeatedly mistreated the people he’s dated. The exact quote is “I was such a dick to Kate. To Eve too, to every woman I’ve ever dated. None of them deserved it. I don’t know why I had to get my brains blown out to see that.” There is no mention of men in general sucking.

GingerKing

"If Mark wanted to stop being a hero" Then he'd be ignoring his responsibilities. Because with great power comes great responsibility. By the way, Eve is squandering her talents too. She shouldn't be fighting evildoers, she should be studying to become a doctor. In fact, they should give her all the time and comforts in the world to make her the best doctor. Because with her power she can LITERALLY FIX EVERYTHING, she just needs to how exactly how it works. Rex's "men suck so much and hurt women, they need a bullet to the head to realize"?... yea, show original, not in the comics. Are you keeping track?

Arakis

Now that being said I’d love to become a cyborg lol, I just get the fear behind it and the loss of control.

Gdadder

I think you’re a bit underselling the trauma from Donald, it’s like the deus ex question, are you still human after becoming a machine? If you don’t have a heart? Are you really sure that you feel the way you do because you’re you, or are you programmed that way? Are your memories even true? What if cecil just decided to press a switch and Donald’s brain turns off?

Gdadder

Your grandfather wrote screenplays? That influence you in any way as a kid? Considering and all.

I know that you primarily watch Anime, but have you ever thought about reacting to Cobra Kai (the sequel series to the original Karate Kid trilogy) It’s a great show & is essentially a live action anime It’s wacky & goofy but also poignant, complex, & thoughtful It has a lot to say about Tradition Vs. Innovation, Fatherhood, Legacy, Self Development, & Changing one’s own Destiny which I think is right up your alley Even if you don’t end up reacting to it, it’s a worthwhile show to get into

They paint clouds on the ceiling! What else needs to be said? You just don't get it ok Edit: Damn it I need to stop posting my comments before I finish watching the ep. Yeah same I dropped out of HS legitimately intending to try to go pro in League of Legends, it didn't work out, but I do NOT regret dropping out of HS and getting GED instead. It saved me 1.5 yrs of misery and allowed me to start my journey of growth sooner.

Please do not get him started on doing this 😭

Many shows introduce a problem and solve it within one season. With Invincible, instead, there are lots of things running in parallel. As a result, it's not really easy to guess what will happen next. Most of the time, what you least expect happens. This automatically makes the story more interesting for me, even as someone who has read the comics after Season 1. They make quite a few small changes or introduce completely new storylines. For example, the story with Donald doesn't exist in the comic. Debbie's mental state has been expanded with many scenes. Eve's return to her parents after the thing with Chicago was also new. It's really much fun to watch it.

Hey man don't you know that the true indication of a healthy relationship is showing up to all your significant others' pizza place art exhibits and botany recitals? That's like relationship 101.

There's also the chance that some new technology will make both irrelevant

I have everything on a growing number of external drives. I wonder which has a better chance of surviving, that or these hosting platforms

I was joking about he was trying to eliminate fear, but rather than some strange roundabout neurological thing (in that villain-like thing of "what if we could eliminate pain") it actually ended up being admirable and wholesome

Alex G

I didn't notice then until just now but it's crazy how much Rudy's already grown. A sequid jumped at his face and someone killed it right in front of him, but he barely blinked and his hands didn't stop working on the machine. Compared to a few episodes ago where he froze up because he was about to get stepped on by that giant baby
