LMAO I love how Killua spends literally 3 minutes with his internal monologue before he actually replies to Illumi after taking the phone from Gotoh. Typical anime. 3 minutes of dialogue happens in like 5 seconds or something. Watching people on ledges is indeed scary! A friend of mine posted some vacation pics where he was sitting on the edge of a cliff. I was like "Oh damn that is a cool pic but can you please avoid cliffsides, I don't like seeing you next to certain death. What if you have a random unprecedented muscle spasm or something??? what if your body somehow flails itself off the edge or what if the edge crumbles randomly under your weight???" Is this Illumi's definition of "not killing family?" Yes. Yes, apparently. Stop questioning it

2024-08-28 04:01:18 +0000 UTCJust one quick note. At 9:55, they have Illumi subtitled as saying "Then I won't have to hold back when I kill you." That's not what he said. He says he won't have to hold back in [doing this]. The verb "yaru" means "to do," but it's often used as a euphemism as in "to get rid of [someone]." So, in the context of an assassin household, yes, it probably means "to kill," but he never said it directly, and he *certainly* never implied that he was after Killua. He just says that he can afford to go all out in "yaru-ing," and then Killua asks if that meant him, and Illumi confirms that it doesn't.
