A NOTE ABOUT THE DIRECTORS CUT
For those that didn't see my post or its comments, I was hoping to watch the original because it makes my life easier and I too am in awe of the power of a well-timed end credits song.
However, the original version of the show seems to have been George Lucased, apparently very recently. One solution I thought of was obtaining a copy on the high seas and attempting to justify it by buying a hard copy of the show to support. The issue I encountered with this is fan subbing, which I'd like to avoid. I would be happy to be wrong on this one so if you can find the original please let me know! Otherwise it will be the director's cut for the duration, probably in this format of the full episode per video (at one per week).

I get why you would wanna avoid fan subs, cause they can really be hit or miss, but I feel like there is a very dedicated fan-group out there, which made even better subs. Eitherway, the first episode was actually almost an hour long in the original version as well — Although e.g. Crunchyroll liked to split it up for some reason, which really deszroys the pacing and all. It's one thing if you just cut two episodes together (with extra stuff at that), but I feel like cutting something short is just simply worse. Anyways, I know I'm a bit late, but I'm really hyped for you watching this! Hope you have Fun!

Because that's where boys want to live, a world where you can make it by waving a sword (and magic) around and that it hasn't been fully explored and explained yet. Where the mystery is still alive and travelling and taxes are much simpler. Where your living is not 8hrs (commute not included) in front of a PC screen. Moving to another country DOES help with the opposite sex, in a small way, subconsciously. It's a remnant of our tribal past, where you people instinctually looked to breed with people outside of the tribe, because when the tribe is 40 people, you do not want to keep inbreeding uncontrollably.

"Subaru" is the Japanese name for the Pleiades constellation (hence the car company logo), which is also called the "Seven Sisters" for the group of bright stars that appear close together on the night sky. "Satella" is more obviously just "stella" as in "stellar" or star-like. I'll be honest and say that I had a tough time getting through the first episodes of this show. Subaru is (intentionally written to be) so incredibly cringey that it was genuinely difficult to put up with. I do think the payoff is worth it, though.

I like the analogy to Isekai to a new country or at least place, i spend 3 months on canada studying english, the city of Toronto is very simillar to mine so wasnt hard to get used of it, also my english was already decent so that was not a big problem too, but made me see that no matter the place you still you so is not like a new life, that said some things are different since i was in a fun school i made a lot of friends there you have a lot to talk about when you come from a different country also talking was a big part of getting better on the subject, so i was kinda more social there! But that said if i was in another country for just a day a day experience would be prolly the same thing as always is.

You said some really prolific things and some completely wrong things in your first review, hopefully no one tells you which is which. One thing I don't hear people talk about enough is how fantastic the dialogue is in this show. Just fantastic Back and forth banter between the characters. I think my favorite is puck and subaru

Re: Zero exists in a rlly special place for a genre filled with power fantasy and wish fulfillment. The best way to put it is that it is to the isekai genre what evangelion or hxh are to mecha and battle shonen respectively. Excited for more.

Re:Zero and Subaru especially represented a big collective of characteristics that I strongly identified with and made me realize a lot about myself when the show first aired in 2016. It all works into the plot so well and I'm excited to explore Subaru's character with you as we go deeper into the show. Hope you enjoy the ride!
