The shonen part will get more diverse as we go further down the story. Right now it’s mostly just Saitama killing everything easily to show how far above everyone he is. But it will get different later in multiple aspects. The shonen part of this anime is as big as the comedy part i would say, if not bigger. There will also be no shortage of weird designs and a sexy mosquito girl is just the beginning. Threat level was also mentioned in the last episode for Vaccine man but it was also said they’re assessing what level it is but didn’t give out a specific level. In this episode Mosquito girl was said to be threat level Demon. I know you can’t understand what they mean right now so you don’t even think much about it but these levels will be a reoccurring thing in the series. The Beast King could be a reference to Hagya from HxH but honestly i don’t know. I don’t know whether you noticed but the VA that voices Saitama is the same guy that voices Miyuki from Kaguya-Sama. It’s most noticeable when Saitama is serious, otherwise not so much haha. But i think it’s the perfect VA for Saitama due to how perfectly nonchalant he sounds when he’s normal. Was cool to hear your thoughts on what Genos could bring into Saitama’s life also. Their dynamic is one of my favourite things in this show.

It becomes a challenge for him to see if there is any underlying themes or messages we might have missed, especially considering it's the same author of Mob Psycho.
