New Necklace - UPDATE (Fan Tier)

Let's see what happens... I've left the old version in here too for comparison's sake.
Something a liiiiiiitle different in style, if not in substance.
I've been doing these pieces lately with a LOT of linework focus, they're great fun and I'm really enjoying them, but the trade off is that they are really labour intensive. This week's been a bit of a pain with work and I wanted something a little quicker to do, so I took the sketch I'd made of this piece a few nights ago and decided to abandon linework completely and just colour it.
Initially I'd intended to keep it pretty simple, buoyed by the fact that my last super simple piece is my most interacted with post on instagram I thought "eff it" lets keep that ball rolling. Buuuuuut you know how it goes, you do a cool lighting layer and the next thing you know you've rendered the hell out of it.
Don't get me wrong, I love how this turned out, but the fact that instagram themselves DELETED it after 11 minutes of being uploaded means I probably went too far with the rendering lol. They really hate the way I paint bums.
The process for this was largely the same as my usual style, I just didn't have the safety net of linework to carry me. It was fun, and I'd definitely do it again.
