New Balls Please
Added 2024-06-02 15:20:24 +0000 UTCWell, summer's trying to get here... though for us in the UK it's struggling (tbh I don't mind, I prefer it cold and miserable lol) so to celebrate, here's something silly. Kind of an homage to the classic silly cartoons you might find in Penthouse or Playboy back in the day.
I do have an apology to make, I'm sorry it's been quiet around here. It's been a struggle the last month or so, and if you follow me on IG you'll have seen me complaining about art block and the BS that keeps coming up in my life lately; so this piece was an opportunity to not care so much, and try and have fun again.
It's kind of a different style, more cartoony and less heavily rendered, less focused on super tight linework and there's almost NO post processing at all (except for a slightly heavy handed grain)
Is this the end of my art block? I don't know, but it was fun to work on, and I haven't felt that way for a long time.
