Added 2023-07-11 21:58:19 +0000 UTCAwhile back I tried that semi-stylized proportions with Iru -- bigger head, simpler shapes, etc. -- and I really liked it. I haven't practiced it much since, and I wanted to give Kiwa some more character, so I tried it on her, too! Ended up throwing a Paz in there for scale as well.
I definitely need to work on this style more, because I think it has a ton of potential. I wouldn't abandon the more realistic proportions of my other pieces, but this is a nice complement to that.
Also, small bit of Paz/Kiwa lore! They both wear sweatbands on their wrists almost all the time -- Paz actually picked that idea up from Kiwa. Kiwa wears them because she's a sporty girl, and Paz wears them because it helps keep her hands from getting too sweaty when she's doing her favorite activity.
