Just that Archer has no actual romantic feelings for Pam. Lana is the worst fit for him since she hates everything he stands for, but can't help it to have feelings for him. So yeah, from a sober perspective Pam is much better for him, but if the feelings aren't there it doesn't really matter. I don't think Pam loves Archer, nor he her.
