Archer's near death delusion comes from the 1978 movie "Heaven Can Wait" with Warren Beatty, but also mixes in scenes from "The Natural" (1984) with Robert Redford. That's why Archer tells the angel guy that the vision is all over the place and asks if Mr. Gower was going to slap him deaf from a scene in "It's a Wonderful Life" (1946). The next episode is in my top ten list, if I had an actual list, which I don't. But if I made one right now 4x07 would be on it.
