I'm fucking FLOORED. Wut? I finally got around to finishing (almost) this show over the last couples days. I put it off... partially I didn't want it to end, partially I just wasn't excited about spending time with Nate, Rupert, and West Ham (I was so happy with how little time we actually spent with that storyline)... I scrolled down, from 12 down to 1; I didn't want to be spoiled but accidentally saw your "weak season" comment for 12... at first I was like "damn, really?" Then I watched, and around ep 6, 7, into 8 I was like "oh, she was being hardcore sarcastic, this season's been beautiful." But now, in the outro to 11... you weren't?!? I known you mentioned you didn't buy Rebecca's speech torpedoing the Edwin League, and you thought Nate's dad's speech wasn't earned enough... but I guess I really thought you were enjoying the show as much as I was. Bummer.

2024-11-18 18:02:21 +0000 UTCI'm actually really happy Ted Lasso only lasted 3 seasons. I think it's good that it had a defined end that the writers were (presumably) working towards this whole time. I wouldn't want them to drag it out, have more seasons, have to deal with ups and downs with no end game in mind... risk ruining characters' development, or stagnating... ALSO I love that the episodes are as long as they need to be. The final season, feels like episodes went from 50ish minutes to an hour and 15, hour and 20.
