The first season was good, and had alread set up some of the greatest stuff that continues through the seasons. But it does get even better, not just with the addition of Devito, who is a treasure, but you'll notice a slight change to the other characters already. And even the comedic tone is more in your face than low key now, and it grows more every season. It starts moving here, but I think it really hits the pace of what most of us consider the show to be like around season 4.
