SongsTress Quest Episode 1 - Drum Roll Please!

And you are Desire.

Heat bubbles within you, the final embers of your settling transformation retreating from view as you take your first breath, a beautiful phoenix arising from the ashes of... Well, who the hell cares?

Who you were isn't important - not now that you're you. The old you cared about things like laws, limits, and other people. The new you, the real you, knows you're far more important than any of that. All that matters is doing what you want, and making the world around you deal with it! And what you want...

… What you want crystalises in your clearing mind. It's such a simple thing - how could anyone possibly try to deny it?

All you want to do is Sing.

Sing and be heard. Sing and be adored. Sing and be loved! To sing and be worshiped by everyone, everywhere, everywhen. When people think of music, they should think of you. When people think of idols, you should be the first in mind. People should think of you first all the time, as far as you're concerned. Such was the dream of... Of whoever you used to be. Back before you were you.

SongsTress. The name resonates within you, rings like a pitch perfect note through the ears of an empty-headed song slut. You're not entirely sure where it came from, but such things hardly matter. Very little matters to you now, now that your desires have taken over. The world crackles around you, flickering around your hands. Reality is nothing before the power inside you, and it will bend to your command.

Her outfit is white and tight, squeezing around her middle to give her massive cleavage that little extra boost through the star-shaped window over her tits, while her ass is wrapped in a glittery short skirt that hypnotizes viewers who stare, always tempting them on the edge of flipping up...

Powers:

• Beguiling voice: Rank 1 - You have the sounds of a siren blossoming from your tongue. Your words are hard to resist without protection, and when you turn on the charm, unprotected minds melt. Choose your words carefully, because you make each one count. At Rank 1, this works on weak willed humans quickly, and can wear down resistant humans. Other opponents, like Serenities or fellow Desires, may be resistant to it.

• Show Stopper Stunner: Rank 1 - Your dance moves are unstoppable! In combat, you favour offense more than defence, and if you land a solid hit on someone, they're likely to be dazed for a turn.

• Curse of Verse: Rank 1 - Not satisfied by simple human minions? Well fortunately your songs resonate with the power of Desire - if you can construct a fitting verse, you can turn mesmerised bystanders into merry background dancers, turn that yelling police officer into a slut inspector, or turn a nun into your worshipful devil slave~ (You can also use genre music to convert entire crowds, i.e.: Rock music to create a slew of devils, or pop for bimbos... but this dilutes the effect) Only works on mesmerised or defeated humans - Serenities or other Desires can completely resist this power at Rank 1.

• All the World's a Stage: Rank 1 - Sovereign Class Skill. When you decide that you've found the place you wish to make your Lair, activate this skill. When activated, this skill will begin converting the world around it into a Lair fitting to your theme (for you, an Idol Stage Auditorium) where your other powers all receive +1 to their Rank, increasing their strength. At Rank 1, this power can only be used once. Must be levelled up in order to hold more than 1 territory.

How This Works: Okay folks, here are the rules of the Quest. I'm flexible, and if you'd like any clarifications, ask away, but here's how I see this working:

Today's Poll will be open until Saturday evening (UK Time, because my homeland has always been self-important like that). I'll then post a preview of the next update for all Reader Tier patrons and above on Sunday evening (Again, UK time) without choices attached - because you guys are the players, and the choices should be yours! Namely, I will be leaving it open for you to comment in your suggestions of what you would like to see next. Then, on Wednesday, when the weekly story update happens, I will add those suggestions to the full Quest update post, and everyone can vote on them.

If this doesn't get many responses then I'll probably stick to making my own options in the future, but that sounds like much less fun for everyone, so I encourage you all to take part - no need to be shy!
