Yeah, Eve's dad truly sucks. Like... he made a good point about her powers being potentially dangerous, but he's always been misogynistic and overbearing and insecure; that's not the reason he resents her. You ever hear the phrase "fruit from a poisoned tree"? You're not gonna get good advice about how to use your powers responsibly from him. I really don't like her returning home like that.
