And you know she would love Harold and Maude and it would be a great time watching her react to it.

My skin literally crawled when you mentioned dark city. I viscerally hated that movie and it was so long ago I don't remember why. Other than that I more or less agree with your sentiment. I had a good run early on and now everything I want nobody's heard of. you and I are older than everybody else here. Bifurcating a movie is an interesting concept though.

What a terrible take.

I love Walk Hard, but a top 3 comedy all time? I'm not sure its even a top 3 comedy about a fictitious musical act (Spinal Tap, A mighty Wind, All You Need is Cash). I'm voting for it, but I'm not sure of Ana's knowledge of music from that era, so i think a lot of it might go over her head. I think part of the issue is there are great movies, and then there are movies that are great to see someone react to. As amazing as There Will Be Blood is, I dont think id enjoy seeing someone react to it. Its kind of slow paced at times, with minimal dialogue. Eternal Sunshine is a phenomenal film, but I'm not sure i want to watch someone cry for a couple hours, and have an existential crises. Maybe the best film of John C. Reilly's career, We Need to Talk about Kevin, is an acting masterclass, but I'd rather not subject anyone to that potential trauma, if they aren't prepared for it. I get it i was sad to see Harold and Maude, get booted from the list, but that's the issue with a democratic process.

These are all fine movies except the Men who stare at goats, which is the most disappointing movie I've ever seen. It builds and builds to absolutely nothing.

I'm staggered by how these top-10 all-time movies are just completely unknown. "Walk Hard" is a top-3 comedy all-time; it's a perfect movie, John C Reilly 100% should've won Oscars for his performance, and yet it seems most people are walking around not even having heard of it. That's sad, depressing, and crazy. Really depressing to think that merit means nothing. "Kiss Kiss, Bang Bang", aside from being incredibly funny and clever, well-written with great dialogue, a fantastic cast and script... IT'S THE MOVIE THAT GOT RDJ THE ROLE OF IRON MAN!!! HOW IS IT NOT MORE WELL-KNOWN?!? My movies keep underwhelming in these polls not because they aren't good - they're top-10 of all-time! People haven't seen them and judged them, they simply haven't heard of them. Goddamn that's depressing, because how can I possibly win if people aren't willing to check them out? I keep trying to think of other movies to suggest, but pretty much all of my top-10 or even top-20 all seem to have that problem, aside from the ones Ana's already reacted to ("The Princess Bride", "Who Framed Roger Rabbit", "The Big Lebowski", and "Lucky Number Slevin"). Like... people gave up on Broken Lizard after "Club Dread" was terrible and "Beerfest" was mediocre, so "The Slammin' Salmon" - their best work! - is a movie it seems nobody has heard of despite it the best work from the guys who did "Super Troopers". And another *really* good movie I have been thinking about recently... "Dark City". Like... c'mon, that shit isn't winning any polls. I wonder if I can just have Ana react to 55 or so mins of a movie one month for the "pilot reaction" then the rest of the movie the next month?

Your last name is Lennon (either real, or chosen for patreon), and you've not heard of Walk Hard? This makes my heart sad.

Daniel M.

I voted for the only two movies I've heard of
