Yeah, there's a lot of plot threads. There's no reason they need to wrap them up all at once, or need to hurry on any of them. They'll finish them all in due time. Also: Astronaut. It's "Astro", then "not".

And for the love of god, stop aiming for the head; aim center mass so that they have to dodge further to avoid your blows.

So if Rex-plode can charge items with kinetic energy to make them explode... then how come he only uses those bars? When Octo-boss (?) grabbed him, Rex-plode could've just charged Octo-boss's ARM with kinetic energy and blew it off. When Octo-boss stepped on Rex, then Rex could've just charged his leg and blew it off. Use your powers better, dude. You almost died, and you only didn't because Invincible saved you. You could've saved yourself. (Also, they pulled the animation trick during that fight scene too, of just using one picture for multiple frames.)

2024-05-21 14:08:02 +0000 UTCI'm mostly loving this season, but man, I am bummed that we're seemingly gonna have to wait until next season to really get into things with Angstrom Levy. He was so fascinating from moment one.

2024-03-31 11:40:00 +0000 UTCI just want to plug the library real quick: several weeks ago, I ripped through the entire Invincible series of comics (SO damn good) thanks to my local library. Just want to let y'all know, at least for American fellow patrons: just get a library card from your local library and you can get access to several online sites that have free ebooks, comics, audio books, and free streaming sites for tv shows and movies. Given how bad streaming has gotten - despite the massive library of Netflix, it seems it's getting harder and harder to find something worth watching, plus fees are going way up, I hear they're adding commercials - I'd recommend just cancelling any subscription you don't actively use and make sure you've got a library card and password so you can access the free shit the library offers. I can't really rave about the tv show/movie selection, but it's not like it's much worse than Netflix's, plus it's free. So, you know... be aware, that's out there.
