One of the things they tweaked in between seasons was to de-emphasize Mark, which I think was a great call... I think they also made him a bit more interesting, more of a 3-dimensional, nuanced character too. So I think, when you initially weren't interested in the Mark/Ann relationship, you were probably thinking of season 1 Mark, who wasn't particularly interesting. I felt much the same way, but yeah, their relationship ended up being relatively wholesome and supportive, so... the writers threw in that "Mark didn't know her coffee order" in that episode to try to show us that they needed to break up, but everything up to now had been pretty supportive, so... it's kind of a bummer, I think. Oh well.

2024-10-13 00:10:43 +0000 UTCI an exited about Season 3 of Parks and Rec. I think the show really improves as it goes on. But i do love Futurama, the first 4 seasons are amazing in my opinion, so i am happy either way.
