Luck of the Fryrish is my absolute favorite episode of the series. What an emotional gutpunch on top of just top tier comedy the whole episode.

2025-05-25 04:30:30 +0000 UTCOh trust me, after this they realized they can do actual touching/serious stories in the world they created that was meant to be silly. I wouldn’t even rank one in the top 5 of the saddest/sweetest in the series. This show has some truly amazing writing. Including some fairly smart jokes “20 below absolute zero” (which isn’t possible). One of the head writers has a doctorate in applied mathematics from Harvard University, graduating summa cum laude and literally created a mathematical theorem solely for a futurama episode down the line “the futurama theorem”. Don’t look it up (yet). Will be a spoiler. But pretty cool!
