Fugoo 2.0 Tough XL vs Tough XL?
Added 2020-09-04 20:39:26 +0000 UTCThanks to one of my friends we can finally state that there is no real 2.0 of the Fugoo XL. The one sold on the Fugoo site is exactly the same unit that was sold for several years now, the “2.0” addition visible at the site is just bogus. https://fugoo.com/products/fugoo-tough-xl
My friend ordered one of these alleged 2.0 units recently to compare it to his “original” Fugoo XL and found out that everything is exactly the same, incl. packaging, design and of course sound.
Thus those claims of upgraded volume with now reaching 105dB are just fairytales as the Fugoo XL won’t even reach 95dB with outdoor mode measured from 1m.
Just wanted to clear up this confusion. Hope this helps anyone still interested in this speaker.
