JBL Charge 5 - unboxing & first impressions

Both are fantastic motion plus a bit louder.but i pref the Sony love the live mode really both great hard to say whos the bigger winner.take a listen to both no one can tell you what you pref more Sony or Motion + this comments which one sounds better really no one can tell you this lol you need to listen and choose

bought a Motion Boom and I'm excited for its arrival soon

Ich finde der Anker Motion Boom ist nur am rumblechern vom Bass. Und irgendwie Sound mässig richtig plastik mässig trotz EQ einstellungen. Daher habe ich ihn zurück gesendet morgen kommt meine Motion+ Wenn die nicht besser ist dann weiß ich auch nicht was los ist für mein Geschmack. Wenn die Motion+ nichts ist teste ich die Sony. Aber der Motion plus soll ja mit der King sein mal schauen.Ich will einfach sehr guten Klang Klar sauber und Mittleren Bass das ist mir viel wichtiger als nur diesen"Plastik" bass

For the money, ill go for the Motion boom. both sony and jbl sound great with their new releases, but the anker just made a budget friendly and great sounding speaker with adjustable eq.

I just got my Soundcore motion boom last week and I spend a week to turn the EQ setting. The turning was base on my ear and switch between the motion boom and VIFA Helsinki in late-night mode. Has anyone ever compared older Tribit MaxSound Plus with newer ones? I had one from mid 2019 lost it, bought a new one mid/end 2020 and had the impression it would have even more bass. But can't compare them side by side, so its hard to say. In any case a excellent speaker, I doubt there is something better for below 50$.

If u want the size of a flip 5, save a lot of money and get the much better Tribit MaxSound Plus. Today in Germany on Amazon for 40,79 EUR. Blows the JBL away for half the prize

XB33 or Soundcore Motion+ or Boom if you don’t mind the larger size

hey guys, i need your advice. I'm looking for a portable BT speaker for about 80 €. Do you have a recommendation that I should listen to? On Amazon germany the jbl flip 5 is on offer for 83 €, but i'm not sure if it's the best for the money. :)

Glad this doesn't change my opinion about JBL speakers.

To me the charge 5 for more the half the suggested price ain't even be half of tge xtreme 3. Imo this driver layout is indeed an imorovement compared to prev one, but at the same time they screwed the sound a bit. Treble screams and swallows a bit of bass that already gets reduced, sooo sony xb33 and anker boom/motion for example kill this one out.

The Sonos Roam has a chance to be the best at the Charge 5's pricepoint. I hope you get to try that next month.

Recordings are a bit harsher and thinner I think. +1 for a modding project for Motion Boom, would be fun to see you saw it in half.

Der JBL5 könnte sich gut anhören wenn nur diese Spitzen nicht so extrem dominieren würden. Das macht das Hören sehr anstrengend. Der Sony ist da viel angenehmer, jedoch teilwese nicht ganz so klar vielleicht. Der Anker ist auch sehr angenehm und schön, aber ich finde teilweise leicht boomier. Ein Vergleich zur Motion+ wäre noch genial. Ps: das neue Mikrofon ist sehr gut
