Back in business
Added 2021-09-01 08:10:17 +0000 UTCI found the issue with the treble loss which started to occur recently with my microphones. The problem were the dust cover stickers which I removed for one of my units. Obviously the glue somehow started to “age” or cover the openings. After removing it I gained nearly 20dB of treble in the highest frequencies as visible from the measurements.
Now I will have to adjust my compensation for this to get reliable results again but at least I can continue recording with these microphones again.
