Added 2024-12-13 13:12:51 +0000 UTCThe following has been created on special request of a patron. To read it in a proper format, click: Relics list.
It has also been added to: Sorcery Compendium
Do read the part about the Eyes of Agamotto below. Rest, your wish.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Relics are Magical objects/ Artefacts, containing power that can be hard/ in cases, impossible for the human body to channel continuously or sustained for periods longer than a few seconds. A relic usually has a single function or a single category of functions. They are usually imbibed with the power of a single, special deity.
The Relics in GotSIS are:
The Eyes of Agamotto:
Created by the Father of Sorcery, Agamotto himself, the eyes are amongst some of the most powerful relics ever created. There are two main eyes of Agamotto: The Eye of Knowledge, and the eye of power, each having its different function, and abilities.
The eyes of Agamotto have the ability to grant their wielder clear sight and see through illusions, enchantments, and even give them the ability to scry, and thus see through worlds at any given time. They also give the very rare ability of ‘true magical sight’, which shows the user the very magic that runs through a place/thing/person.
They can also contain objects of great power, including an Infinity Stone within them, and allow the object’s power to be used by the wearer in a controlled fashion.
As said, there are two eyes of Agamotto:
The Eye of Knowledge: This eye is a relic reserved EXCLUSIVELY for the office of the Sorcerer Supreme and no other. It contains the Time Stone, which grants the Sorcerer Supreme a total control over time itself.
Wearing it, the Sorcerer Supreme gains the ability to see through time that has passed and see the futures (its many possibilities anyway) to come like one browses through the channels on TV. It also, as a result of the Time stone, grants the ability to manipulate time: Slow it, loop it, freeze it, fasten it, etc.
In addition, the eye grants the Sorcerer Supreme the greatest tool they need: Knowledge.
The eye teaches the wearer the powers of the office of Sorcerer Supreme, including giving them knowledge of advanced techniques and spells only accessible to the Sorcerer Supreme, when it considers them ready (yes, the eye is sentient).
The wearer of the eye also finds it easier to consume knowledge and understand what they learn in great depth. It also provides the user a perfect recall (Eidetic memory), allowing them to recollect everything they know perfectly.
In addition, whenever needed, the eye will provide the Sorcerer Supreme spells to compensate when they’re falling short, teaching them to use the spell perfectly in the blink of an eye or guide them to do what they need if they lack the needed knowledge. (Though, it usually only happens under duress and in great times of need, when the eye feels the Sorcerer Supreme is in danger that they cannot handle without help.)
The eye continuously gains knowledge itself, learning from its wearer as its wearer learns from it. On a theoretical scale, it contains the knowledge of every single Sorcerer Supreme since Agamotto himself, and hands it out to the current bearer when they need it.
Agamotto created the eye to ensure that his successors knew all they needed to know when they stepped up to the mantle and help them in times of need.
The Eye of Power: The counterpart to the Eye of knowledge, the Eye of power is currently in the possession of Harry Potter and bound to him by Death herself. It also houses the Soul Stone, containing and hiding its power, while also enabling Harry to channel it when needed.
Originally, it was created by Agamotto to help the Sorcerer Supreme in waiting— the heir of the Sorcerer Supreme. Over generations, the ring was lost when the heir ran away to battle an incoming threat, and lost, the eye going missing with them, until it was given to Harry Potter by Death.
The Eye of Power acts as an Universal focus, enabling its wearer to channel and manipulate any and all forms of energy. It even amplifies the power by a certain degree, allowing for more powerful attacks and defenses that usually would require additional effort by the Sorcerer.
Agamotto intended for the Sorcerer Supreme to teach the heir, and the eye was made to allow the said heir to cast spells with a greater ease. When the heir learned enough, they would no longer need an additional focus to channel energies, and knowledge could carry them forward.
The eye helps focus and amplify spells of any sort, making them a lot easier to cast and control, in addition to allowing its wearer to channel almost any sort of energy and manipulate it to a certain degree, depending on their knowledge and expertise.
It also has the usual functions that both the eyes have in common— Clear Sight, scrying, etc.
Scepter of Sulfindum: A short, thick staff, which is unbreakable through Physical force and can withstand magical attacks. Created by a Sorcerer, Sulfindum in the mid 18th century, the scepter can shatter any energy construct it comes in contact with.
Claws of Sulfindum: Another relic created by Sulfindum, the relic is a claw-shaped dagger made of bone. The claw can pierce through almost any physical armor or shield (bar perhaps cap’s shield, and Black Panther’s suit). The claw can also generate bursts of magical energy, powerful enough to send an average man sprawling.
Boots of Valtorr: The Vaulting Boots of Valtorr are a pair of special, enchanted boots, which, using the power of the deity, Valtorr, enable their wearer to move freely in the air as if they were on land. They increase the wearer's leaping ability and nullify the adverse effects of impacts from high landings. They chose Karl Mordo.
Gyre of Gateways: A magical bowl which can open a portal to obscure realms and pocket dimensions, usually ones filled with creatures, monsters, and demons. Its origin is unknown, but the gyre gives the user enough control on the creatures that pass through, to direct them to attack a target.
Cloak of Levitation: Perhaps the most famous of relics, known for being the companion of Dr. Stephen Strange. The Cloak of levitation is sentient and intelligent, and helps protect its user in addition to giving them the power of flight.
Daggers of Daveroth: A set of magical daggers enchanted by Daveroth, a sorcerer and former Sorcerer Supreme (till he died shortly after taking the mantle). The Daggers can pierce through any magical enchantments, magical hides, armor, etc. They can also be thrown with uncanny precision at medium distances.
Torch of Toulin: Imbibed with the power of Toulin, a god of dead, the torch burns with a red blaze, that can burn the undead, and harm ghosts. It can also cast a glow which reveals hidden creatures from the realm of dead and the realm of shadows.
Cauldron of Cosmos: A powerful scrying relic, which not only helps see the present but also the past of any place in the cosmos. A sorcerer who knows how to use it properly, could view the universe very similarly to Heimdall himself.
Binding bands of Cytorrak: A magical trap, which acts like the ultimate straight-jacket to subdue and bind a person. These bands are near impossible to break, unless one has immense strength, or magical power or a combination of the two.
Dragonfang: The Dragonfang is a sword of Asgardian origin, left by Odin on Earth for the Sorcerers alongside a handful of other relics post the frost giant war. The Sword is one of the most powerful weapons to currently exist on Earth.
It is indestructible and can pierce and shatter through nearly any barrier, physical or magical. It can channel, amplify, and shape vast amounts of energy while also imparting the skill of master swordsmanship to its wielder to the point that would enable a wielder of semi-decent combat ability to challenge the divine.Crystal of Cyttorak: A crimson diamond-like gem made from a portion of the Elder-God Cyttorak’s power. It is one of the more dangerous relics, that, when touched by an unknowing person, could turn them to Cyttorak’s will, turning them into a weapon of unstoppable force with one purpose: To destroy. The person turns into… the Juggernaut.
Rings of Vishanti: A set of three rings, which bestow great magical power to its wearer. It gives them the ability to conjure weapons of power and protects them against a great many attacks alongside the power to nullify most magical attacks before they can hit them.
The Staff of One: The Staff is forged from the essence of the entity known as the ‘One’. The staff, can do nearly anything as the caster wills, but each spell cast needs a sacrifice of blood from the caster, equivalent to the power needed to cast the spell, which is why, the staff is only used sparingly. But it presents one great advantage: To cast some spell, only intent is required, and the user needn’t have an iota of knowledge about magic or sorcery.
Amulet of the Right: The Amulet is often associated with what comic fans know as Captain Britain. It empowers an individual, in both body and power to that of a god, enabling them a wide range of abilities, as deemed worthy by the amulet.
Excalibur: The legendary sword of King Arthur, is now exclusively limited to the Office of the Sorcerer Supreme. When taken up, it makes the user invulnerable(if they possess the scarab too) and invincible. In addition, the sword can unleash powerful mystical attacks and pierce any physical object. The sword has the ability to kill anyone including gods, immortals, and spirits. It is a weapon on par with Mjolnir.
Warden Weapons: A set of staves, swords, spears, bows, shields, etc. enchanted with multiple spells, in order to fight threats of Earth, based in the pocket dimensions connected to them. These weapons are designed to affect nearly anything, from werewolves, to fae, to vampires amongst other creatures. Most of these weapons, over time and due to the way they’re enchanted, have become relics, or close enough to be classified as one.
The Ten Rings: Often associated with Shang-Chi in comics and now even in the MCU, the ten rings are one of the most powerful and dangerous relics sought after by numerous men and women. These rings, when worn, could empower a normal mortal to the level of the more powerful gods (such as Thor and Hela), and someone really skilled and powerful could go toe to toe against a skyfather or celestial.
Ring of Telekinetic Reach: A sling ring enchanted by Harry James Potter and turned into a relic. The ring enables the wearer the power of telekinesis— the ability to move objects with one’s mind. The ring also enables Harry to fly at decently high speeds, rivalling a commercial airplane. (From 0.5-0.75 mach). It can enable him to lift objects as heavy as a few tons.
SPECIAL MENTIONS:
Cloak of Invisibility: Inherited from his Father, the cloak is one of the Deathly Hallows in Harry’s old world and is still in his possession. It allows him to become truly invisible, when in active use, undetectable to magic or tech. Passively, it still shields him a good bit against being seen by magic — Heimdall remarks that it is exceptionally tough to keep his eyes on Harry.
Sling Ring: These Sling rings aren’t a relic but rather a conduit for dimensional energy to be shaped into portals. They have magic in them, but it is one of the passive kind.
Harry’s expanded bag: A bag enchanted with magic that Harry made in remembrance of Hermione’s beaded bag with an infinite expansion charm. It is of a constant weight and can store anything in it.
Enchanted Cleaning Equipment: Harry made them at the request of Master Hamir after his death. They keep the sanctum clean.

It was suggested by a friend on Discord, Thunder Stag. The credit for the name goes to him, not me. I didn't put his credit here but it will be in the chapter's AN.
