Anker Soundcore Motion Boom Plus - evening garden session

I am using my recent binaural compensation for this video. If you listen at exactly half volume with the Free Pro 2 and my reference tuning, you should also get the correct volume level that I was hearing in real life. I will continue to optimise both my compensation as well as improve the reference tuning for an even more neutral response which should also render my recordings more faithfully.

In the meantime I managed to do a quick measurement of the Motion Boom Plus just to check what's wrong with its response, and the heavy peak at 6khz is visible quite well I think:

I won't report this to Anker, as I don't care and am not here to give them hints how to tune their speakers properly. If they don't manage on their own, that's their business.

The Issue with the popping passive radiators at high temperatures is still a thing, thus not recommendable.

Anker Soundcore Motion Boom Plus Firmware upgrade 0.36 fixes heavy peak at 6khz successfully, this has been recorded and reported on Youtube by Alan Ross in his recent video. I would like to know Oluf's opinion whether this improves Boom+ significantly and returns him back into the competition against Tribit Stormbox Blast? Remember it is twice as light (2.5kg) in comparison with Blast (5.5kg), features type-C charging instead of custom cable...though bass may not be that ground shaking...

Someone here want to share his Custom EQ Settings for the latest firmware version 00.36? I want a smooth as possible frequency response, to have pleasure in listening.
