Battle of the Boombox wannabes
Added 2022-06-24 13:41:32 +0000 UTCI think it’s clearly hearable which one sounds best or worst. The PWR05 is actually a boxy a joke, while the Anker comes shortly after. I am actually quite impressed by the performance of the Tribit. Although it loses bass slightly above 3/4 it still remains perfectly controlled with no hints of distortion just mids being pushed a bit too much at levels close to maximum. I will try to optimise the user EQ for an even better sound although with user EQ the heavy bass of the XBass setting is not achievable which may actually render the sound even more satisfying for those who don’t like the most pumping bass.
