Ok, this is not good

So starting the month with minus 30usd in pledges means something is wrong and I'm doing something that isn't pleasing you guys, so I am here once again asking, what is it that you would like for me to change, losing patrons rather than being stable or gaining is not really a good sign for the future. I've seen this before and I'd rather not be there again. I saw interest when I drew pokemon girls then it sort of slowed down a little and after I started drawing other franchises I lost more patrons, not gonna lie, I understand doing new things may be a little discouraging but this is not looking good for me in any way, haha.

Anyways, what are your thoughts lovely people? Would love to hear them out.

Limit the polls to once a month, work popular characters from numerous fandoms into every month in order to bring interest from the most amount of people, you can start by drawing at least one character from all 5 of last week's poll options. Work on streamlining your drawing processes and increasing output. The more you have in your monthly offering the better the deal and more likely someone is to pledge.

Perhaps you should focus on characters from "current popular" genres such as "Genshin Impact" , "Elden Ring" ... etc and NOT focus on "old" genres . And few years later from now , you need to update the "current popular" list again .

My best guess is because there are people who only subscribe for specific content (my best guess are either pokemon or MLP). It can be tough but in the end you can't satisfy everyone. There will be people that don't like specific stuff. Some advice I can give is follow trends maybe? Like for example, if a video game gets announced and some characters explode in art popularity, draw some of that.

Another Patreon I support has a 10 dollar tier that has the same bonuses as the 5 dollar tier but the extra 5 dollars goes towards a commission. So after 4 months they can commission a upper-body sketch for free (normally 20 bucks).

Hazbin Hotel art is ridiculously popular, always trending, try continuing in that direction and see if it works. Otherwise, I guess try to balance out the niche stuff from your patreon polls with stuff that's super-mainstream. Regularly alternate.

Discount on commissions that scales depending on the tier you pay.

Your best bet is usually to trend to more recognition. Set polls with name brands, let people decide between them. Alter your efforts depending on engagement. I know it's not much help, but it's a suggestion at the least.

You can't just be appealing to your current patrons but trying to attract new patrons as well. There's gonna be cycles of people joining and people leaving, and patreon does have that exit survey if you wanna check if anyone left a reason for why they left. Unfortunately a poll of your patrons is a small and non-representative sample of the kind of content people actually want to see. You're only appealing to people who answer the poll, but you have to take into account the people who don't. That's a whole field of statistics that's hard to get in to, but it might explain your current drop It's good to see you're still trying to improve your content. It may just be a matter of outreach now

Well, I made polls to ask what people wanted to see, I also want to make what others like, but when you make a poll that includes Huniepop, Genshin, Metroid, Super Mario and Huniepop wins, even if I know nothing of it may say something in general, this is why I am confused, I openly asked and delivered what was top picked only to see that it cost me a lot, I don't even know what to do anymore tbh.

Pokemon: One of the most well-known franchises in the world with a following that's lasted over 20 years. Honeypop (?): I keep up with media, but even I had no clue what the hell this even was. Try to keep up with current trends; what's popular tends to bring views more easily, so drawing what's getting interest as of the moment won't hurt you. And drawing what you enjoy or get requested to do in between won't hurt either.
