TV Show - Carnival Row
Carnival Row is a neo-noir show that takes place in a fantasy setting. The protagonist is a detective who has to find out who is murdering the citizens of his town, while also dealing with issues of his own. There are many clear influences by eldritch abominations and H.P. Lovecraft. I highly recommend this show, as it is not even based on a book but instead it's a show that has its own original script.
Video Game - Prey (2017)
This was my favorite game of 2017. If you're a fan of Bioschock, this is the closest thing we will get to a proper sequel for a while. It perfectly nails that type of exploration, looting and mix of gun combat with crazy unique abilities. It's seriously awesome. And the ending absolutely blew me away.
