Akira's Parents / Family Circumstances WIP

So basically like... as we've all figured by now, Akira reflects me in a few ways. She's trans & she also doesn't have the best parents. Each parent has priorities in their universe that override Akira. They are often neglectful and/or controlling at the same time. I feel it's important for characters to be able to simply have bad parents. Maybe not 100% terrible all the time, but far from acceptable. 

Akira William's dad, Zachary Williams, is a Voidling Hunter who's not fond of having a half-Voidling daughter. While he certainly has better moments with her all around than with her mom, he continues to allow circumstances keep them from ever getting close. Zack also is one of the board members of Voidwatch (name is WIP) which is an organization designed to research the Void Storms that are currently affecting the entire world. He is in charge of investigating & eliminating Void sightings and also using his skills as a tinkerer to infuse weaponry with anti-Void properties.

Akira's mom, Kyouko, has recently inherited her position as the "Queen of the Void." Her family has a long-running desire to take control of Earth Realm and recolonize it to their will. The Void Storms are a part of this plan. She barely gives Akira the time of day, always preoccupied.

The demongal's godfather is an old scruffy man in a tophat who runs The Master Library in the city of New Kabuki of Earth Realm. He's a long time friend of Zack and is entrusted with caring for Akira once she had gotten to a certain age. Using his skills as a alchemist he creates a vanity spell that hides all of Akira's Voidling features so that she may live her life in New Kabuki without fear of being recognized as someone who may be affiliated with the storms.
