Added 2015-03-05 05:26:53 +0000 UTCI have some more TYP V1 Kickstarter Trading Card art for y’all to enjoy – this time featuring Commander for her Powers Card! I’m showing off her psychic powers on her Origin Card so I figured for this card, it might be fun to show her action-y, military training side.
With linework by Gabriel Mayorga (Abraham Lincoln Vampire Hunter) and colors by Alex Sollazzo (Morning Glories), this shows her air-dropping in to help some campers in a fire. (She, of course, used her telepathy to guide them to safety and will lead them to a place where the TYP glider can pick them up.)

I love how it shows the way she doesn't just rely on her powers; she's clearly trained for tons of eventualities, and can use her powers to their best advantage by combining them with her other abilities. Definitely leader material. I really liked seeing some of her past in the comic, when she was a bit more raw and still in the process of becoming this awesome person, and I'm looking forward to more.

Congratulations on creating a truly interesting female character than can (and I'm hoping will), be the lead of her own story someday. She's just so much fun. I'd join her team any day.
