Hear hear! That has always been the hallmark of good literature for me, and stories like this one and Artifice hold up every single time. :-)

That's a good question, Danish. And the answer is, "very minimally." Almost all the changes I make are made before I post or in response to reader comments for the current page (for example, if something wasn't clear or if there was a typo.) While the temptation is always there to go back and tweak things, I believe my time as a creator is better spent making new work that builds upon what I've learned instead of trying to perfect something I wrote some time ago. So, I'd have to say that I think most if not all of the differences you are seeing is because you are getting the chance to read the pages all at once (as they are intended to be read). And that you now have a broader perspective having read future pages. (Which is also intentional. I want The Young Protectors to be pleasurable upon re-reads as well.) And I'm glad to hear that upon a re-read, you have at least some sympathy for the villains. They might indeed deserve that pitchfork, but I try to depict all my characters, even the villains, as people in their own right and the "heroes" of their own story. Thank you so much for such a thoughtful comment! :)

Alex, I went back and re-read some of the older pages of chapter 3. That and seeing the script page got me wondering: Have you ever gone back through older uploaded pages and edited the dialog a little along the way? If so, how much? I know you've made tiny changes like showing their name-logos (Platinum Priestess and Annihalator), but anything else? Got to wondering, because (going through PP and Anni's scene in chapter 3 and other older pages) I sometimes read some dialog and thought, "Hmm, I don't seem to fully remember reading it this way before". Is all the difference simply because it's different reading a whole scene in one go vs. reading it a page or two a week? That I have less time building up an emotion, and read with that focus, from page to page? Is some of it it because I've gotten new knowledge to put together with the older pages? Not even necessary new info that had anything directly to do with what I found out from older pages. Something I ask myself now. You'd have though that looking at a page for days really made you remember it better, getting the full understanding, but reading the dialog in full - in one go - on older pages brought something new. It makes me even more excited about the day we get it fully on print, where you can read it without waiting for next page. I felt like I knew what there was to know from the dialog-info. That I fully had gotten some/most of the nuances in what they were saying. Going back through pages, not even that old, and I found out that I was wrong. Damnit. Reading some of the older pages almost made me a little more sympathetic to Anni's situation in all of this... and PP sounded a tad less insane a couple of times, about that hell plan of hers. NOT that it still doesn't make me want to chase them with a pitchfork for hurting Kyle and the reast of the team for doing this xD

Amazing how much the various steps held consistent as this page evolved. This is definitely a page that will feel very different in the printed book as opposed to having to wait a few days again. Nothing like an action sequence to make us readers feel that dichotomy. Great to see this progression. Thanks.

You're very welcome, Michelle. It makes me happy to hear that seeing these script pages are helpful to you. And if I can inspire you in some way to realize your dreams, well, that would be very gratifying for me. Have a great time at Room 801!

I can't express my gratitude enough in seeing these pages. I've been researching script writing for some time now. As a full time worker, raising two kids and keeping a house I've never made the time to go back to school and learn this stuff. It's all internet based learning for me and anywhere I can get the information from, I'll get it. So supporting you here and seeing how you do things helps me in more ways than anything I'll learn elsewhere. I've said it before Alex, and I guess I'll keep saying it, everything you do has a HUGE impact on me. It allows me to dream of achieving things I would never have hoped for. I'm off to Room 801 this weekend in Sydney and I'm hoping to meet some great artist and maybe one day I'll be lucky enough to find someone interested in bringing one of my stories to life as a web comic. Thank you.
