A way to download your digital rewards directly

Hey y'all!

I've mentioned that I've been looking into ways to enhance the rewards I'm sending out to you, and one of the things I've been looking to improve is the way y'all can download the digital rewards I send you, especially the high-res files for $10+ Patrons.

Currently I'm having to send out links for those files each month via Patreon email—and it's a pretty kludgey method. Sometimes emails don't get delivered, or people lose track of them, there's no real way to know who got what, and most importantly, there's a delay for everyone while I need to wait for a few last payments to go through.

So, the past few months, I've been looking into several services that integrate with Patreon, and one of them is a download service called itch.io. Itch.io can connect to Patreon, and then serve  download links to folks who are my current Patrons which should give fast access to all the rewards no matter where you are in the world. And it would also mean that I wouldn't have to wait 10 days for Patreon to clear all the payments, I could just post the link to the itch.io page for that month's reward on the 1st of the new month.

Not only that, but it also opens up the opportunity for me to create some new rewards as well—such as a "library" of previous pin-ups that y'all could download at any time, so long as you're a Patron.

You'll have to set up an itch.io account to make this work, but in my experience, that's pretty quick and painless.

So far, in my testing, all this seems to work fine, so now I'm opening it up for y'all to give it a try. Here's the link:

Once you Register an itch.io account and Connect with Patreon (so two steps for the first time you do this!), you will find the download links for the high-res files and the Kindle file at the bottom of the page.

Now, we're definitely at the "beta" stage with this. I'm assuming there will be a hiccup or two, so I'm still going to send out the regular email tonight.

But please let me know what your experience is.  I'd love to be able to offer a download method that will potentially be a lot more convenient and reliable in the long run—and something that will give me a way to get you your rewards much faster. :)

Let me know! Thanks!

Alex
