Sneak Peek Sundays #13 - Full Monty Spooky Sketches
Added 2015-08-03 02:24:51 +0000 UTCHowdy, y'all! It's time for another sneak preview of some upcoming art -- and since this is #13, it's appropriate that the honor this week goes to Spooky Jones!
For this one, I'm working with a new artist, WOODun, whom I met at the Toronto Comics Arts festival this year. He approached me at my table, saying he'd like to create something special involving our characters and, after reviewing his work, I was delighted to offer him our next Full Monty character pin-up commission.
The first thing he sent me were four "thumbnail sketches" so I could decide which pose would be the best fit for our cheerful young wizard. When I looked at the thumbs in my Gmail, they just happened to be displayed as a four-square image, which I thought looked pretty cool. So, I've recreated that for this Sneak Peek. :)

Anyway, I really think WOODun's thumbnail sketches totally capture the cheerful, confident vibe that Spooky radiates. And even blurry, he's looking very cute.
This is definitely a fun one for me to work on. I hope you like it. Please let me know what you think in the comments!
